To the editor:
We are sending this letter of endorsement in support of Art Skaar and Jason Storipan because as former elected Hillsborough Township Committee members we know from direct experience what it takes to do the work of the Township Committee on behalf of the residents of our community.
It requires more than time and posturing. It requires knowledge, preparation, intelligent problem-solving, honest communication, the ability to compromise when needed, human relation skills and the respect of the other elected members. All are essential to accomplish goals.
We believe that Jason and Art have all these necessary traits to be outstanding Township Committee members.
Jason and Art are the official candidates endorsed by the Hillsborough Democratic Organization. Hands down, Jason and Art have the skills and leadership abilities that are so sorely needed in Hillsborough.
We need Democrats we can trust. For us, it is the team of Art Skaar and Jason Storipan for whom registered Democrats should vote for in the June 3 primary election. Vote Column 1.
