Mr. DiSalvo, 91, of Holmdel, died March 2, 2014, at the Bayshore Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Holmdel. He was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa., where he grew up. He and his wife, Jeanette, had lived in Newark and Hazlet before settling in Holmdel in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was predeceased by two sons-in-law, John McKenna and Kenneth Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanette; two daughters, Ann Cuntala, of South Brunswick, and Candace McKenna, of Jackson; a brother, Herman DiSalvo, of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet. Prayer services were offered at the funeral home, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. William C.
