Ladies Night to aid Daisy Association

A Ladies Night of Indulgence fundraising event to benefit the Daisy Association, East Brunswick, is set for 6-8 p.m. May 8 at Freedman Chiropractic Center, Brier Hill Court, D-6, East Brunswick (left of Fields Sports Complex).

The event will feature specialty foods from Jack’s Corner Market, East Brunswick; a variety of wines; chocolate from Thomas Sweet; frozen treats from Magnifico’s Ice Cream, East Brunswick; and homemade cookies from Diana’s Fresh Baked.

Participants may indulge in a variety of services including massage therapy provided by certified massage therapists and beauty consultations including facials, makeup, an eyelash-extension demonstration and hairstyling ideas with artists from Belisa Salon. Psychic Barbara Lee will offer readings; interested individuals should bring a photo in which the eyes of the person they wish to contact are visible. Irene Sonja Fanane will offer “angelic messages.”

Heidi Scanlon, certified Reiki master/teacher, will show one’s energy field by scanning auras and chakras. Dr. Ken Freedman will offer nutritional, weight-loss or chiropractic consultation.

A minimum requested donation of $10 will help the nonprofit Daisy Association assist and advocate for special-needs children, young adults and their families in the East Brunswick area.
