Mayors from south and central Somerset County will discuss issues of common interest at an event sponsored by the Somerset County Business Partnership from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Royce Brook Golf Club, 201 Hamilton Road in Hillsborough.
The discussion will feature the leaders of Millstone, Montgomery, Hillsborough, Franklin and Rocky Hill. They are Ray Heck of Millstone Borough, Rich Smith of Montgomery Township, Douglas Tomson of Hillsborough Township, Brian Levine of Franklin Township and Ed Zimmerman of Rocky Hill Borough.
They will discuss how innovation at the municipal level will provide a competitive advantage for local businesses. The discussion should be valuable for business owners, executive-level managers and representatives of companies looking to expand in Somerset County.
”Meet the Mayors” allows participants the opportunity to hear directly from the leaders on key business and development issues in their communities. The discussion will include the mayors’ vision for the future and the actions that they plan to take to improve the fortunes of their community while creating a growing and sustainable business climate. The mayors have been asked to address opportunities that are available to business representatives and decision-makers.
