William Demars, 52, of Cranford, was found to have an active warrant out of Garwood in the amount of $1,500 after a traffic stop on North Harrison Street on May 11 at 9:14 a.m. He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed and subsequently released.***
Douglas Prestup, 42, of Millstone, was found to have an active warrant issued by Plainsboro Municipal Court during a traffic stop on Elm Road on May 11 at 9:43 a.m. He was processed and subsequently released.
Wilhelmina Webber, 69, of Princeton, was charged with false public alarm after it was determined she had made threats to DOT workers at a project on Route 206 on May 9 at 9:37 p.m.***
A resident of the 300 block of Gallup Road reported someone had broken into the residence sometime between 4 and 9 p.m. on Friday, May 9. Entry was gained through a forced open rear door. It was unknown what was missing at the time of the report.
A construction employee reported to police that sometime overnight on May 7, someone had taken copper wire from a construction site on Bayard Lane. The wire was valued at $750.
A John Witherspoon Middle School employee reported that sometime between 3:30 p.m. on May 1 and 2:45 p.m. on May 8, someone had entered a locked filing cabinet at the school and stolen a gaming system and accessories. The total value of the theft was estimated at just over $400.
Montgomery
Stephan K. Bubnowski, 19, of Belle Mead, was arrested at 1:18 a.m. on Field Flower Drive and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Plainsboro
Eric R. Mincey, 25, of Trenton, was pulled over at 7:51 p.m. May 3 on Route 1 for allegedly failing to maintain a lane and traveling through a marked safety zone. Police said he provided false information, attempting to hide his identity. Further investigation revealed he had nine active warrants out of various jurisdictions totaling $14,933. He was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice, hindering apprehension and contempt of court. He was also issued traffic summonses for unregistered vehicle, driving while suspended, driving through a safety zone and failure to maintain a lane. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,500 for the Plainsboro charges.
West Windsor
Police are investigating the theft of four back flow preventers valued at $4,700 from the Colonnade Pointe and Canal Pointe developments.
A black female approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall, 150 pounds and wearing a straight black wig, pink nails and a navy mini skirt concealed cosmetics and nail decals valued at $10 and exited Sally’s Beauty Supply at 2:27 p.m. May 5 without paying for the items.
A 42-year-old West Windsor resident reported a front license plate to her vehicle missing at 3:59 p.m. May 5.
A wallet was stolen from a 57-year-old Lawrenceville resident between 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. May 6 while she was at Panera Bread in Nassau Park Pavilion. The person who stole her wallet used her credit cards to make purchases between $5,000 and $6,000 at Target before she could cancel the card.
A wallet was stolen from a 67-year-old Plainsboro resident between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. May 6 while she shopped at Home Goods in the Nassau Park Retail Center.
Four back flow preventers belonging to the Windsor Ponds Association and valued at $1,400 and a water meter belonging to West Windsor Township were stolen from Windsor Ponds.
A Hispanic female approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall, 22 years old, with shoulder length brown hair, dark framed glasses and wearing a gray sweatshirt, green pants and Converse sneakers and another Hispanic female between the ages of 30 and 40 stole a purse from a 30-year-old West Windsor resident at the Chuck E Cheese’s in Nassau Park Pavillion at 7:49 p.m. May 7.
A men’s Schwinn mountain bike valued at $300 was stolen from a bike rack along Wallace Road at the Princeton Junction Train Station between 5:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. May 9.
