A resident of Library Place reported on May 12 at 4:30 p.m. that she believed she had left a jewelry box containing a Chanel necklace and Audemars Piquet watch totaling $13,895 in an A1 Limousine on May 5. Upon reporting this information to A1 Limousine, the victim was told that the jewelry box could not be located.
A resident of Redding Circle reported that her house had been burglarized on May 13 at 2:11 p.m. The victim stated her front door was forced open and her rear door had been unlocked. Furniture inside the house was found damaged and in disarray with an overturned and torn loveseat, broken bed frame, torn mattress and clothing thrown about. The total damage is estimated to be more than $2,000.
A Dodge Caravan parked on Olden Street was discovered on May 14 at 2:40 a.m. with a smashed driver-side window, damaged driver-side and passenger-side mirrors and shoe prints on the passenger-side sliding door window. The owner of the vehicle was identified with the assistance of Princeton University Department of Public Safety. Two other vehicles were damaged around the same time on Prospect Avenue.Plainsboro
Cristian Tajiboy, 31, of Trenton, was stopped for an expired car registration on May 13 at 10:57 p.m. and it was discovered that he had an active traffic warrant from West Windsor for $400 and from Bordentown for $289 after providing a false name. He was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension, obstruction, an unregistered vehicle and diving while suspended.
A 56-year-old female reported on May 14 at 2:44 p.m. that an unknown person made fraudulent purchases using her personal and business debit card accounts. The total amount charged between the two cards was $269.10. There are no suspects at this time.
Montgomery
A homeowner on Derby Chase Court in Belle Mead reported a burglary on May 10. The homeowner discovered the burglar had entered the residence by removing a screen and forcing open a locked kitchen window. The bedrooms and office were ransacked and an undetermined amount of property was taken. Police responded to the scene at 10:30 p.m. and the investigation is ongoing.
