An iPod belonging to an American Eagle Outfitters employee was reported stolen from a display table at the store between 2 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. May 27. It was valued at $300.
Stanley Miller IV, 27, of Ewing Township, and Piotr Szubert, 27, of Trenton, were charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking the window on the S&L Shoes Inc. business on Brunswick Pike at 10:10 p.m. May 27. Mr. Miller was also charged with obstruction of the administration of law and justice for allegedly failing to comply with a police officer’s command to get out of the car in which he was sitting, and to show the officer his hands.
David Fitz, 48, of Allentown, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, making an unsafe lane change, failure to turn on his car’s lights and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 11:05 p.m. May 29 on Brunswick Pike.
Someone entered an addition under construction at the Chapin School on Princeton Pike and stole a box of copper pieces used for electrical work, valued at $200, sometime between 4:30 p.m. May 29 and 7 a.m. May 30. There was no sign of forced entry.
A Chatsworth Court resident returned home to find the residence had been entered and ransacked some time between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. May 30. Entry was gained by forcing open a window at the rear of the house. An inventory of missing items and their value is being prepared.
An unknown shoplifter walked out of Lord & Taylor with $240 worth of clothing between 6:15 p.m. and 6:36 p.m. May 30. The shoplifter chose merchandise from the racks, left the store and got into a car and fled.
A burglar stole copper pipes, valued at $200, from a vacant house on Johnson Avenue between May 10 and May 31 at 2:06 p.m. Entry was made through an unlocked window.
Neil McGrath, 50, of O’Neill Court, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon after he was found to have a large knife in his back pocket at 5:11p.m. May 31. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $2,500 bail with a 10-percent option.
Two glass rear-view mirrors — but not the housings — were reported taken from a 2004 BMW 3-series car between 8:30 a.m. May 23 and 8 a.m. June 2 while the car was parked on Cedar Court. The mirrors were valued at $184.
