Glenn Fredricks Sr.

Mr. Fredricks, 67, of Spotswood, died June 14, 2014, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Newark, he resided in Spotswood for the past 36 years. Before his retirement, he was employed as an electrician for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 52/164 for 41 years. Mr. Fredricks was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Spotswood, and a member of the Old Bridge Elks. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Cecelia, and by three siblings, Donald, Virginia Seckman and Eunice Greeley. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Barbara Scardilli Fredricks; two sons, Glenn M., and his wife, Suzanne, and Danny, and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Cuzzo, and a daughter, Marie, all of Spotswood; three brothers, Richard and Clifford of the Parlin section of Sayreville and Paul, and his wife, Margaret, of Pennsville; four sisters, Claire Gabel of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, Audrey Motusesky, and her husband, John, of East Brunswick, Gail Higgins of Edison and Barbara Critchley, and her husband, Jim, of Lakewood; a brother-in-law, Raymond Greeley of Parlin; and 45 nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Spotswood. Interment followed in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F.
