An employee at St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center reported the theft of $130 in cash, plus a money order for $85 and a debit card from her wallet, which had been left in her pocketbook underneath a table in the cafeteria between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. June 23.
A bathroom vanity and a mirror, valued at a combined $400, were reported stolen from an apartment on Slack Avenue between June 10 at noon and June 14 at noon. The victim left the door open to the apartment.
Jesse Mower, 24, of Hillsborough Township, Richard Liquori Jr., 25, and Robert Liquori, 24, both of Hamilton, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe at 8:38 p.m. June 24 after police stopped to investigate a suspicious car parked behind a building at the Sleep-E-Hollow Motel on Brunswick Pike.
Mr. Mower, who was the driver of the car, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (a straw used to ingest drugs) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Police found 14 packets of heroin, a plastic straw and a hypodermic syringe in the car.
Two shoplifters took an assortment of children’s clothing, valued at about $500, from The Children’s Place store at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 4:05 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. June 25. They were pushing a baby stroller and picking clothing off the display racks.
One of the women distracted a store employee. When the employee attempted to confront the two women — described as black females, between 25 and 30 years old — they fled the area and could not be found.
A thief took $100 in cash from the Splat Back kiosk at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 6:50 p.m. and 7:03 p.m. June 26, while it was left unattended. The thief entered the kiosk, opened the cash register and removed the money.
Thomas Peck, 29, of Trenton, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance when he was found to have heroin and oxycodone and clonazapam pills in his possession, after a police officer on patrol observed him to be slumped over behind the wheel of a car parked at the Sleep-E-Hollow Motel on Brunswick Pike at 11:14 p.m. June 27.
Genesis Munoz, 20, of Corona, N.Y., was charged with forgery, hindering apprehension for giving a false name, theft by deception, wrongful impersonation for using another person’s identity and trafficking in personal information for allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills at several stores at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 4:48 p.m. June 28.
She entered a store, made a small purchase and paid for it with the fake $100 bill, receiving change in return. An employee at one of the stores became suspicious and after determining that the bill was not genuine, the employee contacted the Quaker Bridge Mall security officers who in turn called the Police Department.
A 17-year-old Princeton boy was charged with shoplifting fragrance, sunglasses and a Godiva candy bar, worth a combined $240, from Lord & Taylor at 5:37 p.m. June 28.
Caprice Blackwell, 21, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Whitehead Road at 7:39 p.m. June 28. A grinder, rolling papers and plastic baggies with an odor of unburned marijuana were found in her possession. She was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on an outstanding warrant.
Wanda Heard, 45, of Princeton, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and failure to maintain her lane after her car struck a utility pole on Carter Road at 3:51 a.m. June 29.
Nia Mayfield, 19, of Huron Way, was charged with shoplifting a dress valued at $128 from Lord & Taylor at 6:32 p.m. June 29.
