A motorcyclist died after an accident on Ely Harmony Road on June 26. The Millstone Township Fire Department and the Millstone Township First Aid Squad were dispatched to the accident in front of 521 Ely Harmony Road at 7:46 p.m.
A Millstone Township First Aid Squad ambulance arrived and provided patient care. Millstone Township Fire Department firefighters, under the direction of Captain Jim Carbin, assisted with emergency medical services and also controlled traffic.
The motorcyclist was transported to CentraState Medical Center in Freehold by a medevac helicopter and was pronounced dead.
The accident is under investigation by the New Jersey State Police.
