Read & Pick Program: Blueberries 9:30 a.m. and 11a.m. at Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road (crossroad Carter Road), Lawrence. We will be reading the book: "Blueberries for Sal" followed by an educational component. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of blueberries. The cost is $7 per child and includes the container of blueberries. Our farm staff will explain how blueberries grow and how they should be picked. The Lawrence High School Class of 1978 is holding a 35+ reunion on from 1- 6 p.m. at Mercer County Valley Road Park, 48 Valley Road, Lambertville. The reunion is open to LHS faculty as well as alumni from other graduating classes who would like to attend. The reunion event kicks off with a casual gathering at Almafi’s Bar and Lounge, 146 Lawrenceville Pennington Road, Lawrenceville on Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m. Two additional planned events are a Saturday, July 19, golf outing and Sun., July 20 motorcycle touring. The Just Peachy Festival at Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road (crossroad Carter Road), Lawrence, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Country music from 12-4 p.m. daily. Pam Mount’s free canning class is at 10 a.m. on Sat. The "Perfect Peach Pie" bake-off contest is open to any amateur baker and must be either a pie or cobbler. Entries will be judged at 1 p.m. Sun. Also, sample Just Peachy wine. Admission to festival is $5, children under 3 free.
