Left Bank Home is has been an integral part of the Frenchtown, NJ shopping experience for nearly 18 years, founded in 1997 as the Studio. Molly, a former French teacher and lover of all things French, was shopping there for her own home on the Delaware River in 2007 and before she knew it—she had bought the whole store—literally! Voila! Left Bank Home was born—a French themed store in Frenchtown owned by a Francophile! C’est Magnifique!
Left Bank Home had become an anchor store in Frenchtown with customers from all over New Jersey, Bucks County and Philadelphia. Needing to expand, Molly began to look for the right place to enhance the store’s accessibility to her clientele with a space large enough to showcase her extensive home furnishing collections. The new store is in the perfect location—and space. Situated in the heart of Peddler’s Village and housed in the former Village Flower Shoppe, Left Bank Home is in a gorgeous, 3-level space with a visually striking glass conservatory and courtyard that provides a continuum of more than 4000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space to showcase its distinctive home furnishings, unique accents and gifts. The shop offers an expansive space, extensive resources and non-commissioned, experienced salespeople who are available to assist you with all of your design and gift needs in a relaxing and friendly, no pressure environment.
Amy Boyd, of Buckingham PA will manage the new store. Amy has been with Left Bank Home in Frenchtown for over 3 years and has attended LEE Industries Academy in Conover NC.
Left Bank Home is committed to providing home furnishings that reflect extraordinary workmanship and real value. The store’s main furniture line is LEE Industries, which is a family-owned and operated company committed to the eco-friendly manufacturing of custom furniture made in the USA using traditional construction methods. Lee Industries is a leader in a nationwide trend to shop locally—which ensures that money goes back to the community, and supports brick and mortar shops and businesses.
Wanted: Designers! Left Bank Home is poised to be your go-to store for top-quality home furnishings. Come in and find out how you and your clients can benefit from the store’s trade discount/courtesy commission programs on fabulous furniture, accessories, lighting and rugs.
Peddler’s Village was founded by Earl Hart Jamison in 1962, who transformed a six-acre chicken farm and market into 14 shops and a restaurant amid his self-designed, award-winning gardens. The Village has continued to evolve and grow into a premier attraction in Bucks County—which now boasts a 42-acre village of more than 65 unique specialty shops and 5 restaurants, the recently renovated 71 room Golden Plough Inn, and Giggleberry Fair, a family entertainment center. From a simple roadside market to a multifaceted village of shops, restaurants, lodging and family-friendly entertainment, one common thread was woven throughout Earl Jamison’s tapestry of dreams—a commitment to carry on a tradition of excellence in caring service and country hospitality. Left Bank is the newest thread in Earl Jamison’s vision.
