The South Brunswick Police are alerting residents to an increased number of car burglaries over the past two weeks in the Township.
According to police, the suspects have been entering unlocked vehicles in high-density complexes during the overnight hours and stealing items.
Reported stolen items include radar detectors, wallets, sunglasses, I-Pods and cash, police said.
In several cases the suspects removed the vehicle airbags.
Police said the suspects entered vehicles in Royal Oaks Apartment Complex, Wynwood Developments and East Garden Apartments.
Residents are reminded to lock their car doors at night and report any suspicious activity to police.
