LAWRENCE: Police blotter

Kyle Costello, 29, of Brielle, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia after a police officer stopped to investigate a suspicious car parked at the Sleep-E-Hollow Motel at 6:47 p.m. July 22.
An 18-year-old Trenton woman who works at the Quaker Bridge Mall reported that when she got off the bus at the mall to go to work, she felt a man touch her buttocks with the back of his hand at 11:50 a.m. July 23. She notified the Quaker Bridge Mall security office, which in turn contacted the Police Department.
Dakota Christensen, 27, of Princeton Pike, was charged with possession of heroin after police were called on a report of an unwanted visitor to an apartment on Princeton Pike at 11:50 a.m. July 24. He was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants.
An unlocked bicycle, valued at $50, was stolen from a Betts Avenue residence at 7:34 p.m. July 24. A witness saw a group of four black male juveniles near the bicycle, and one of them rode off on it toward the Tiffany Woods development.
Cuthbert Anderson, Jr., 19, of Johnson Avenue, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest for refusing to be handcuffed at 4:15 a.m. July 25 after he was found to be asleep in a car that had been reported stolen from Clinton Township.
A police officer saw the car parked next to the Retro Fitness business at the Lawrence Shopping Center and found that it had been reported stolen July 24. Inside the car, police saw marijuana in plain view. Mr. Anderson was released to the Clinton Township Police Department.
Three Lawrence Township teenagers were charged with burglary, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (a pipe) at 2:10 p.m. July 25 after they were found inside an abandoned house on Lawrence Road. The juveniles — two girls, ages 14 and 15, and a 13-year-old boy — were released to a guardian’s care.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and tampering with evidence when the car in which he was riding on I-95 was stopped by police at 9:20 p.m. July 25. Police observed marijuana in his lap, and bits of marijuana on his teeth and lips. He tried to eat the marijuana.
Edward Rivera, 42, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (empty glassine envelopes) after his car was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at the Sleep-E-Hollow Motel on Brunswick Pike at 1:20 a.m. July 26. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center.
Briana Bakke, 27, of Yardley, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and littering at 2:46 a.m. July 26 after a police officer saw her toss a cigarette butt from her car and noticed that she was driving erratically on Franklin Corner Road. She was released to a friend’s custody.
A Huffy mountain bicycle, valued at $100, was reported stolen from the rear yard of a Pilgrim Avenue home between 8 a.m. July 26 and 11 a.m. July 28.
Two shoplifters allegedly took a brown leather jacket, valued at $399, from the Lucky Jeans store at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 8:04 p.m. July 28. A store employee noticed two black males looking at merchandise, carrying a backpack. Then she observed the jacket was missing.
Patrick Fedorko, 22, of Lawrence Road, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana at 10:15 p.m. July 28 when a police officer stopped the car in which Mr. Fedorko was riding after smelling an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
