Five weed whackers, six leaf blowers, one chainsaw and other pieces of landscaping equipment with a total value of $7,600 were stolen from the 1100 block of Route 130 between July 3 and July 7. The Robbinsville Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating the theft.
Samantha Cruz, 18, of Robbinsville, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and Evan Pagani, 18, of Robbinsville, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to inspect, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and maintenance of lamps after a motor vehicle stop for an expired inspection sticker on Washington Boulevard at 8:51 a.m. July 11.
Jaclyn Franciosa, 22, of East Hanover, was charged with possession of heroin, unclear plates, obstructed view, driving while suspended, failure to surrender license and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle after a motor vehicle stop in the area of the Robbinsville Police Department for operating a vehicle without a front license plate at 8:40 p.m. July 13.
Vance Williams, 28, of Monmouth Junction, was charged with drunken driving, refusal to submit a breath test, driving without a license, driving while suspended, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain a lane and failure to safely change lanes for an emergency vehicle after a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 near Robbinsville Self Storage at 3:59 a.m. July 13. Police allege that Mr. Williams nearly struck a patrol car that was roadside on another motor vehicle stop.
Three ladders and other equipment with a total value of $2,000 were stolen from a construction site on Opal Drive between July 11 and July 14.
Jason Rutherford, 30, of Robbinsville, was charged with drunken driving, careless driving and reckless driving after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Saxony Lane at 12:10 a.m. July 21.
