All meals are served at noon at Hibernia Apartments in Lambertville. Reservations are required. Call 609-397-2228 24 hours in advance. The value of each meal is $5.10. Any amount donated over this is a tax-deductible contribution. All menus are subject to change and include milk and margarine. The sodium-controlled menu is the same unless otherwise noted.
July 31 — Chicken noodle soup, Swedish meatballs, egg noodles, broccoli crowns, Swiss salad, pumpernickel bread, cheesecake. Bring and brag.
Aug. 1 — Apple juice, chicken cordon bleu, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus tips, cucumber/onion salad, wheat roll, nectarine. Bring a friend to lunch.
Aug. 2 — Blended juice, sliced turkey, Swiss cheese, hoagie roll, potato salad, fresh fruit, chocolate cupcake.
Aug. 3 — Grape juice, egg salad, Kaiser roll, balsamic tomato and onion, fresh fruit, sugar cookie, milk.
Aug. 4 — Lentil soup, loin of pork with gravy, pierogies with onions, peas and carrots, applesauce, six-grain bread, fruit turnover. Cards.
Aug. 5 —Apple juice, cheese manicotti, meatballs with sauce, sautéed broccoli rabe, lettuce salad with dressing, Italian bread, red grapes. Board games.
Aug. 6 — Cabbage and rice soup, meatloaf with gravy, baked potato, Italian green beans, mesculin mix with berries, six-grain bread, cheesecake. Puzzle day.
Aug. 7 — Beef barley soup, lemon chicken breast, wild rice blend, honey ginger carrots, pineapple tidbits, pumpernickel bread, pound cake. Bring and brag.
