Local businesses looking for new employees should participate in the township’s upcoming job fair.
While all local businesses can participate, Mayor Kelly Yaede and the Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission are seeking to expand the array of businesses at this year’s job fair in September to include companies in the internet technology and healthcare fields. Past Hamilton job fairs have attracted an estimated 1,000 job seekers, making it a beneficial opportunity for employers to find qualified candidates.
”As our local economy continues to grow, so will the need for local employers to find qualified employees; and our upcoming job fair will be one way to help local businesses link with residents seeking new employment opportunities,” Mayor Yaede said.
Hamilton’s job fair will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at Princeton Manor Banquet by Cedar Gardens located at 661 State Highway 33 in Hamilton between the hours noon and 5 p.m.
Admission to the job fair is free for all Hamilton residents. In an effort to expedite entrance registration, attendees are encouraged to register online at www.htedac.eventbrite.com. Several workshops and helpful skill training sessions are being planned and will also be offered at no cost to attendees.
”I am looking forward to help link as many job seekers and employers as possible at our job fair and hope that several area businesses and Hamiltonians will take advantage of this great event,” Mayor Yaede said.
Businesses can contact job fair event chairman John Strycharz at 609-638-7580 or via email at [email protected] to reserve a table at the cost of $75 or to learn about event sponsorship opportunities to help advertise their local business.
Registration for both tables and sponsorships can also be made online at www.htedac.eventbrite.com.
Sponsorship advertisements help support this event and other Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission initiatives without the use of taxpayer dollars.
