The passenger of a vehicle that hit a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of Route 130 suffered serious injuries in the July 23 crash.
Geroge Zeleznick, of Collingdale, Pennsylvania, had to be extricated from the vehicle by Groveville Fire Company with the assistance of Whitehorse Fire Company, according to Hamilton Police Division. He was transported to Capital Health System at Fuld for his injuries, police said.
Hamilton resident Eduardo Kierski had parked his tractor-trailer on the shoulder of northbound Route 130 near Woodside Avenue and had exited his vehicle to walk to his residence. Anthony Stillman, of Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, was driving his vehicle northbound on Route 130, drifted into the shoulder of the roadway and struck the rear of the parked tractor trailer, pushing it northbound approximately 30 feet and onto the grass curb area, according to police.
Mr. Stillman was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton for minor injuries.
Both lanes of Route 130 northbound were shut down until 9:30 a.m. Route 130 northbound was reopened at 12:30 p.m., according to police.
Rob’s Collision removed both vehicles from the roadway, police said.
The crash is under investigation by Officer Louis LoBue from the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit. Assisting with the investigation is Detective Tony Abarno from the Mercer County Serious Collision Response Team.
