PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Princeton
Ernst Delma, 31, of Princeton, was charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief on July 31 at 1:44 a.m. after the police received a call about someone trying to pry open a business’s rear door and smashing a rear window on the 200th block of Nassau Street. Bail was set at $10,000 with a 10 percent option. Mr. Delma was taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center after he was unable to post bail. Earlier, Mr. Delma had been issued a summons for defiant trespass at 12:29 p.m. when an officer saw him causing a disturbance and entering a business on the 200th block of Nassau Street after the store owners had asked him to leave.
Joseph Costin, 47, of Somerset, was charged with having outstanding warrants out of South Plainfield, Piscataway, Raritan and Rahway totaling $1,825 when he was stopped on Cherry Valley Road at 12:12 p.m. on July 30. He was turned over to the South Plainfield Police after being unable to post bail.
James Doak, 27, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was charged with having an outstanding warrant out of Seaside Heights for $225 when the car he was a passenger in was stopped on Nassau Street at 9:20 a.m. on July 30.
Daniel Weems, 28, of Philadelphia, was charged with having an outstanding warrant out of Lawrence for $175 when the car he was a passenger in was stopped on Nassau Street at 9:20 a.m. on July 30.
Joseph Long, 52, of Trenton, was charged with having an active warrant out of Englewood for $130 when he was stopped on Mercer Street at 2:37 p.m. on July 29.
Paul Williams, 58, of Trenton, was charged with having an active warrant out of Trenton for $204 when he was stopped on Route 206 at 3:32 p.m. on July 28.
Plainsboro
Vannesta Ogalo, 49, of Ewing, was charged with having an active warrant out of Ewing for $500 when she was stopped on Deer Creek Drive at 9:25 on July 29. She was also issued a summons for maintenance of lamps due to having an inoperable headlight.
Alexander Kryunchkov, 21, of Plainsboro, was charged with having active warrants out of Plainsboro and Monroe for $329 on July 29 at 2:14 a.m. after police were dispatched to the area on a report of a nude male running around Fox Run Drive. Police identified Mr. Kryunchkov, who was found in the area, after questioning him . Mr. Kryunchkov was later charged with obstruction after he allegedly became uncooperative during processing. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center after he was unable to post bail.
A 72-year-old man on Sayre Drive reported on July 27 at 9:21 a.m. that he had been scammed at 5:30 p.m. the day before by two white females in their 20s who had asked him for donations toward "World Wide Circulations." The man donated $42.50 to the organization but later researched the company and discovered it was a scam.
Lashea Fisher, 18, of Sayreville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failing to maintain lane and maintenance of lamps when she was stopped on Route 1 at 2:35 a.m. on July 27. The front seat passenger was issued a summons for possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a car and consuming alcohol in a car.
Valentine Ororie, 43, of Fairfax, Virginia, was charged with having outstanding warrants out of East Orange and Fort Lee totaling $310 when he was stopped on Route 1 at 10:22 p.m. on July 26. He was also issued summons for maintenance of lamps.
Jayesh Patel, 40, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, speeding, reckless driving, having an uninsured vehicle and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle when he was stopped on Edgemere Avenue at 8:58 p.m. on July 26.
