Caught up in a whirlwind of summer performances, the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company (www.cddc.info) will continue to engage and enthrall audiences throughout August before officially kicking off its 2015 touring season in September.
On Thursday, August 7 at 8:00 p.m., the company will perform several works from its repertory at the YMCA- Summer Concert Series at the Rosen Theater,

Throughout the summer the Company has been performing for audiences and conducted several summer residencies at various venues throughout the northeast, including NJPAC in Newark, N.J.; Centenary College, Hackettstown, N.J.; Brandeis University, Waltham, MA.; and the NJ Y Camp in Milford, PA.
For the sixth year, dance lovers will also have an opportunity to explore the world of modern dance with CDDC at NJ Summerdance 2014 at Kean University, August 11-15. Beginners through advanced, teens through adult, can partake in daily master classes in modern dance technique, Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company repertory, dance dialogues on choreography and careers, and much more. Participants will receive instruction from some of the top dance professionals and wellness experts in the New York metro area and work closely with Carolyn Dorfman and the Company. Spaces are still available for the entire week or for individual classes and the culminating performance is free and open to the public on Friday,
The Company’s summer season finale will take place with a performance at the Detroit City Dance Festival on August 22, 2014.
