The Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission’s 2014 Music in the Park free summer concert series will continue with a performance by Grupo Arcano, a salsa band from Brooklyn, N.Y., at 6 p.m. Aug. 7 in the open-grove gazebo on the lake at Thompson Park, Monroe.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Monroe Township Senior Center, Applegarth and Halsey Reid roads.
Rave On!, featuring the music of early rock ’n’ roll legends including Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison, will conclude the music series Aug. 14.
Concertgoers should bring their own chairs or blankets.
