South Brunswick Post Receives America Legion Journalism Award

By Gary Cooper
The South Brunswick Post, a Princeton Packet newspaper, was the recipient of the American Legion, Department of New Jersey’s first award in journalism in recognition of its exceptional journalistic coverage and support of American Legion programs and services at the local level. The award was announced at the Legion State Convention in Wildwood in June. “For many years the South Brunswick Post and its managing editor, Charlie Kim, have been great supporters of our efforts in our community,” said Gary Cooper, commander of Legion Post 401, who nominated the newspaper for the award. “The Post’s strong local commitment to our community and all its organizations made it a natural choice for our first state award.” Cooper also serves as public relations chair for the state American Legion.
