Hopewell Township police Lt. Christopher Kascik reported:
— On Aug. 5, just after midnight Officer Joseph Maccaquano was on patrol on Pennington Road near Denow Road.
The officer stopped a 1995 Lexus for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking with the driver, who was identified as Suzette Fox, 40, of Atlantic Avenue, Hamilton, a warrant for her arrest from Branchburg Township was located.
She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on the warrant and issued a summons for having an unregistered vehicle. Her case will be heard in Municipal Court.
— On Aug. 6 at 3:43 p.m., Officer Vincent Amabile was conducting an investigation at a residence on New Road.
While there he spoke with Frederick H. Matthews, 59, of Scenic Drive, Ewing, about the investigation.
While speaking with Mr. Matthews, several outstanding warrants for his arrest were located from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department and the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department for various charges including failure to pay child support and failure to appear on a DWI charge and probation violations.
Mr. Matthews was transported to police headquarters and then placed in the Mercer County Correction Center with a no-bail option.
His cases will be heard in New Jersey, followed by an extradition hearing for his Pennsylvania case.
