All meals are served at noon at Hibernia Apartments in Lambertville. Reservations are required. Call 609-397-2228 24 hours in advance. The value of each meal is $5.10. Any amount donated over this is a tax-deductible contribution. All menus are subject to change and include milk and margarine. The sodium-controlled menu is the same unless otherwise noted.
Aug. 14 — Cranapple juice, eggplant rollatini, meatballs with sauce, Italian green beans, lettuce salad with dressing, garlic bread, tiramisu cup. Bring a friend to lunch.
Aug. 15 — Blended juice, Salisbury steak with gravy, baked potato, sautéed snow peas, spinach salad with dressing, buttermilk biscuit, fresh diced cantaloupe. Cards.
Aug. 16 — Orange juice, tuna salad, multigrain bread, macaroni salad, fresh fruit, Twinkie, milk.
Aug. 17 — Grape juice, low sodium ham, American cheese, rye bread, dilled potato salad, fresh fruit, oatmeal cookie.
Aug. 18 — Lentil soup, beef stew in gravy, peas, carrots and onions, diced potatoes, Chickpea salad, buttermilk biscuit, fresh peach. Cards.
Aug. 19 — Blended juice, BBQ chicken breast, baked beans, minced coleslaw, carrot sticks, corn muffin, watermelon cubes. Bring a friend to lunch.
Aug. 20 — Navy bean soup, veal stroganoff, wide noodles, broccoli florets, garden salad with dressing, Italian bread, éclair. Puzzle day.
Aug. 21 — Beef vegetable soup, stuffed pepper, brown rice, carrot coins, tropical fruit salad, wheat bread, crumb cake. Bring and brag.
