A fter a successful rollout event in February, Len Sammons Motorsports Productions will return to the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton for round two of the Indoor Auto Racing Battle of Trenton on Dec. 19-20
Tickets for these two days of action featuring the very fast TQ Midgets will go on sale on Aug. 15 at 10 a.m.
At February’s races, Erick Rudolph won the Three-Quarter Midgets feature, and Howell’s Justin Gumley took the checkered flag in the Kart feature.
New to the Battle of Trenton this year is a special combo ticket that will give attendees the option to purchase tickets to both nights of racing at a discounted price. Those who purchase the combo will also receive access to a special Fan Fest on Saturday night before the races.

Over 70 top drivers from throughout the Northeastern United States and Canada will compete in the two-day event hoping to take home the top prize. Among those from the area are Anthony Sesely (Matawan), Jimmy Blewett (Howell), Chris Allen (Old Bridge), Rob Schultz (Ocean), A.J. Jadacki (Howell), Dakota Kessler (Farmingdale), Vincent La Fazia (North Brunswick), Gabbie Olender (East Brunswick), Dalton Rovira (East Brunswick) and D.J. Doyle (Middletown).
Each night of racing features qualifying races leading up to the main event, with 24 cars competing on the tight concrete oval.
“This is the perfect time to run an indoor race,” promoter Len Sammons said in a press release. “The outdoor season is over, Christmas is a week away, and racers and race fans are ready for one last race before the New Year. A great time to get together with your racing friends before the holiday season.”
