HAMILTON: Residents asked why they love living in town

The township’s creating a calendar with “We Love Hamilton Because…”.
Residents are asked to submit a photograph representing the reason that they love Hamilton. Some photographs will be chosen by a selection committee to be featured in the 2015 Hamilton Township Municipal Government Calendar, which will be sent to every household and local businesses in late December. Photographers will be credited for their pictures and the reason they love Hamilton Township.
”Whether it is our great parks, our wonderful community events or our beautiful neighborhoods — there is so much to love about Hamilton Township,” Mayor Kelly Yaede said. “This year’s photo contest and township calendar hopes to highlight just some of the many reasons why our families, friends and neighbors love Hamilton Township. I look forward to our residents and local businesses supporting this year’s calendar.”
Participating residents are asked to submit photographs with a signed disclaimer form, which is available online at www.HamiltonNJ.com, giving full permission for the photograph to be featured in the calendar. Photographs of people or private objects (such as works of art, private properties, etc.) must have the permission of the photographed individuals (or parental/guardian consent) or the work’s/property’s rightful owner’s consent for use in the calendar.
Photographs must be submitted electronically (via email attachment) to [email protected] no later than Friday, Oct. 3, and must meet the quality standards of at least 300 dots per inch or minimum dimensions of 3,000-by-2,400 pixels. Poor picture quality may results in photographs being unable to be used.
Local businesses can also help support the 2015 calendar by advertising in it, which provides a great opportunity to reach every household and business in the community. Advertisement information is also available online at www.HamiltonNJ.com. Businesses are encouraged to consider advertisements as soon as possible, because the limited advertisement spacing will be reserved on a first-come/first-serve basis upon receipt of payment.
