Lambertville and New Hope
Drugs, criminal mischief, theft are city concerns — Brandon C. Ennis, 22, of Lambertville, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 13.
Officer Matthew Bast and Lt. Robert Brown went to Quarry Street to check out an anonymous report of an odor of marijuana in the area. Upon arrival, patrols met with Mr. Ennis, who was sitting outside of his residence. Subsequent to investigation, Mr. Ennis was found to be in possession of a glass pipe containing suspected burnt marijuana. He was placed under arrest, charged for the offence and given a pending court date.
—On Aug. 14, Officer Joseph Weber went to George Street to investigate a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival, he met with complainant, Michael Payton, 62, of Hamilton. Mr. Payton said he owns property on George Street and had been making repairs to his rear porch. On this date, Mr. Payton saw what appeared to be cigarette burns on the porch and also found what appeared to be human feces on the sidewalk near where the burn marks were located. At this time, there are no suspects or witnesses.
— On Aug. 17, Officer Michael Gramlich investigated a report of theft from Elm Street. Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim, Daniel A. Popkin, 54, of Lambertville. Mr. Popkin indicated that a 4-5 foot section of black iron railing had been unbolted and removed from the front porch of rental property he owns. At this time there are no suspects or witnesses.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
Charm bracelet reported stolen at New Hope store — The owner of a South Main Street store reported to New Hope police at 2:53 p.m. Aug. 8 that, a woman had stolen a charm bracelet, valued at $50, from within the store a few minutes earlier.
Police said the suspect was described as an Asian female, 30-40 years of age and wearing a light blue tank top and white shorts She was last seen entering a dark green vehicle with a New York license plate, police said.

— Police cited William Higginson III, 23, of Flemington, for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at 12:37 a.m. Aug. 2, after he allegedly created a disturbance at a South Main Street establishment.
— Police cited Marshall Pavelko, 20, of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and Colleen Haug, 19, of Lambertville, for underage drinking at 9:41 p.m. Aug. 2. Police said they were found to be in possession of, and consumed, alcohol on the towpath in the area of New Street.
— A Newtown, Pennsylvania woman reported to police at 7:26 p.m. Aug. 4 that, earlier that day, someone had punctured a tire on her vehicle while it was parked in a West Bridge Street parking lot.
