PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Princeton
Kareem Boswell, 30, of Trenton, arrested on a Princeton warrant for $114 after she was stopped on Mercer Street on Aug. 20 at 8:38 a.m.
A man on John Street reported on Aug. 20 at 7:28 a.m. that a person had entered his 2002 Ford Taurus, which was parked in his driveway, during the night of Aug. 19 and into the morning of Aug. 20. The person had damaged the steering column and dashboard in an attempt to steal it. Damage costs have not been estimated.
Jerry Walker, 53, of Trenton, was arrested on a Princeton warrant for $25,000 with a 10 percent bail option after he was stopped on Valley Road on Aug. 19 at 10:36 p.m. He was taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center after he was unable to post bail.
Edward Dunning, 54, of Hillside, was arrested on a Hillsborough warrant for $100 after he was stopped on Witherspoon Street on Aug. 19 at 3:25 p.m.
An employee of Copperwood Housing Development located on Bunn Drive reported on Aug. 18 at 11:41 a.m. that someone had stolen a 55-inch LG EZ Sign TV from a second floor lounge sometime between Aug. 15 and Aug. 18. The set is worth $1,079.83.
Montgomery
Tyshon Phipps, 34, of Roselle, was arrested on a warrant from Union County for $21,128.17 after he was stopped on Route 206 on Aug. 14. Mr. Phipps was also charged with theft by deception and hindering apprehension after he had paid with a $100 counterfeit bill at Yo Fresh Yogurt in Princeton North Shopping Center and with three $100 counterfeit bills at Shop-Rite in Montgomery Center.
