Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: PGC) and Peapack-Gladstone Bank announce the promotion of John Creamer to Senior Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer. In his current role, Mr. Creamer leads a team of nine portfolio managers that collectively manage approximately $2.5 billion in assets. He is directly responsible for $240 million in client assets and chairs the Bank’s Investment Strategy Committee.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2004, Mr. Creamer spent 20 years in the investment community as a portfolio manager and equity analyst with an emphasis on working with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. He began his career in 1988 performing equity research and analysis for Jamison, Eaton and Wood, a registered investment advisor based in Chatham, New Jersey. In 1993, he moved into portfolio management at the firm. In 1998, John joined U.S. Trust in New Jersey as a vice president and portfolio manager and began working more closely with trust, advisory and investment management accounts. He later served in a similar capability at Wilmington Trust in Morristown, New Jersey.
Mr. Creamer earned an MBA with a dual concentration in Finance and Quantitative Business Analysis from The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Degree from Villanova University. John is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) and resides in Long Valley, New Jersey, where he remains actively involved with a number of community and church-based groups.
