Two Flushing, N.Y., women who worked at a massage parlor on Brunswick Pike have been charged with engaging in prostitution after a month-long investigation conducted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force.
Yuzhen Li, 51, and Yudan Li, 44, were charged with engaging in prostitution, according to Casey DeBlasio, a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. Yuzhen Li was also charged with promoting prostitution. They both worked at the JJ Massage Therapy and Spa at 3231 Brunswick Pike.
During the course of the investigation, undercover officers were solicited for sex by the two women, Ms. DeBlasio said. Officers executed search warrants at the spa Aug. 22 and made the arrests. They seized $8,326 from the spa, along with condoms, bank records and paperwork.
Officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Hamilton, Lawrence and Trenton police departments, the New Jersey State Police and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted the investigation and made the arrests, Ms. DeBlasio said.
The two women were released on summonses.
