Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Opening of Salvona’s New Facility

On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, Salvona will celebrate the grand opening of its new facility in Hamilton, New Jersey with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The event will take place at 2521 Kuser Road, Hamilton NJ 08691 promptly at noon.
To commemorate this special event, General Manager Dr. Martin Harbel of Salvona’s partner, Zschimmer & Schwarz Chemie GmbH, and Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly A. Yaede will join the CEO, Dr. Sam Shefer, in the ribbon cutting for the new building.
“Salvona has been developing and manufacturing advanced nano- and microsphere technologies for the dermatology and cosmetic industries for many years, said Dr. Shefer. “We are pleased to be expanding our capabilities through our new cGMP facility.”
The state-of-the-art 57,000 square foot building offers large scale production capabilities, with five unit operations, three pilot production areas, and a 25,000 square foot environmentally-controlled warehouse. It also includes an 8,000 square foot research and application laboratory and a GLP QC laboratory that accommodates skin testing and has in-vitro and microbiology labs.
