The New Jersey Auto Retailers Unite campaign has raised more than $500,000 to date for the Valerie Fund.

Consumers who test-drive a vehicle at any participating dealership will receive a sweepstakes card they can use to register on the campaign website for a chance to win one of two new cars that will be given away at a Sept. 14 gala celebration at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison. Anyone who purchases a vehicle at a participating dealership will receive three chances.

Around 177 dealerships have signed up for the campaign, which runs through Sept. 30. For a list of participating dealers, visit www.njautoretailersunite.org/dealers/.

Established in 1976 in memory of Valerie Goldstein, the Valerie Fund’s mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders.

WithumSmith+Brown (WS+B), certified public accountants and consultants, has announced the promotions of three senior managers to the partner level.

Promotions include Christopher De- Mayo, Justin O’Horo and Brian Lovett.

DeMayo, of Long Valley, has diverse experience consulting on a wide variety of complex tax and accounting matters within the technology industry, including analysis of revenue-recognition standards and accounting for complex capital structures.

O’Horo, of West Long Branch, has 14 years of professional accounting experience, specializing in the fields of professional services and information technology.

Lovett, of Lawrenceville, has extensive experience serving the tax needs of both public companies and closely held businesses, including all aspects of tax compliance for partnerships and corporations.

The Provident Bank has named Laura Huderwitz of Toms River the vice president and area manager of the Ocean Township, Hazlet and Middletown branches.

In this position, she will oversee and supervise business development, community relations and the daily operations of the three branches.

Huderwitz joined Provident in 2002 and has more than 15 years of banking experience. Before her promotion, she was vice president and area manager of the Ocean Township and Ocean Grove branches.
