Three incidents of theft were reported to Hillsborough police on Aug. 12.
A First Street resident told police that sometime overnight a Rubbermaid garden cart, valued at $80, was taken from the back yard.
On Aug. 12 an air conditioning unit was reported stolen from a PschornLane home during the previous two weeks. Its value was put at $2,500.
A Homestead Road business owner reported Aug. 12 that his black 2005Volvo was stolen in the previous week. The vehicle was last seenparked in front of his business. He put the value of the car at $6,000.
In other incidents:
— Barbara Hickey, 57, of Manville was arrested and charged with shoplifting Aug. 14 when she allegedly tried to leave the ShopRite supermarket off Route 206 without paying for groceries valued at $56.75. She was released and given a date to come to court.
— Mariuz Lisowski, 40, of Hillsborough was charged with driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped July 18 on Fox Chase Run. He was also charged with speeding and refusal to submit breath samples. He was released and given a date to come to court.
