MANSFIELD: Fight leads to woman being stabbed

   A 23-year-old Bordentown woman has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a 20-year-old woman at the Riverfront Motel.
   The incident occurred at 8 p.m. Aug. 27 at 5303 Route 130, where police located the victim who had a stab wound to the upper portion of her torso near her left shoulder, according to the Mansfield Township Police Department.
   Investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred and ended with the suspect and victim returning to separate rooms at the motel. A short time later, the suspect returned to the victim’s door and confronted her again, allegedly assaulting her with what was described as a steak knife, according to police.
   The suspect, Corinne A. Williams, fled the scene after the incident, police said.
   The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment.
   Officers continued the investigation and began looking for the suspect. Ms. Williams was located a few hours later by the Bordentown City Police and taken into custody for the incident at the motel and on several unrelated criminal warrants, according to police.
   Ms. Williams was charged with aggravated assault and a weapons charge for the incident at the motel, police said.
   After processing, she was taken to the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
