HAMILTON — The Miracle League of Mercer County will hold its 2014 Golf Outing on Sept. 29 at Old York Country Club in Chesterfield, with registration starting at 11 a.m.
The Miracle League of Mercer County, which is based out of Hamilton, is dedicated to providing opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League Baseball. They are also dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of individuals with disabilities, educating the public and cultivating a greater understanding on matters concerning disabilities and disabled individuals.
Proceeds from the golf outing — the only annual fundraiser for the organization — will be used for ongoing programs, and maintenance of the field at the Hamilton YMCA facility on Sawmill Road.
