Individuals looking for a job are welcome to attend Monmouth County’s Workforce Development Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Brookdale Community College Collins Arena, 765 Newman Springs Road (Route 520), Lincroft.
The job fair will provide individuals with access to employers seeking talented candidates in every discipline, from hospitality and health care to finance, education, telecommunications, computer science, and everything in between, according to a press release.
More than 100 local employers and employment resource organizations will be participating in the free event. No registration is required for jobseekers.
“In addition to bringing in top employers from throughout the Monmouth County area, we are providing resources for jobseekers to assist them in preparing for their search,” said Freeholder Serena DiMaso, liaison to the county’s Division of Workforce Development.
During the job fair, there will be a job search workshop. Registration is not required for the workshop.
Résumé professionals will be available for one-on-one résumé reviews. A registration table for signups will be available for a 15-minute personal résumé review. Jobseekers are encouraged to make an appointment upon arrival as the reviews will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the press release.
