Princeton
Steven Starr, 35, of Stratford, was arrested on a Washington Township Municipal Court warrant after police stopped him on Washington Road near Faculty Road at 11:02 p.m. on Sept 2. He was released after posting $600 bail.
Someone stole a 3-foot Japanese maple tree from the front lawn of a residence on the 400 block of Ewing Street between Sept. 4 and Sept. 5.
Someone stole a Coach pocketbook containing an iPhone and identification from the Cloister Inn on Prospect Avenue between midnight and 1 a.m. on Sept. 7. The purse and its contents were valued at $260.
Michael Singletary, 36, of New Haven, Connecticut, was charged with drunken driving after police stopped him on Witherspoon Street near Nassau Street at 12:44 a.m. Sept. 7.
Plainsboro
Michael J. Vlearbone, 51, of Trenton, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault against a health care worker after police responded to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro at 7:17 p.m. on Sept. 3. Mr. Vlearbone allegedly pushed and scratched two hospital staff members during a physical altercation during a dispute over the release of a patient. Anthony E. Marant, 78, of Trenton, was charged with aggravated assault against a health care worker. He allegedly struck a hospital staff member in the arm while attempting to flee the area in a vehicle with Mr. Vlearbone. Mr. Vlearbone was taken to Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in lieu of $10,000 bail. Mr. Marant was processed and released on his own recognizance.
