Brian Pazdan, 40, of Trenton was charged with DWI after his car was stopped by police at 1:21 a.m. Monday, police reported. He was headed south on Route 130 when police said he failed to maintain a lane and was stopped. Mr. Pazdan was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and failure to maintain a lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Michael Hirschman, 43, of Lawrenceville was charged with DWI after his vehicle crashed into a tree on Perrineville Road at 6:51 p.m. Sunday, police said. The driver failed sobriety tests performed at the scene, police said. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane and having an open container of alcohol. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Ian Halliday, 40, of Oklahoma City was charged with DWI after police stopped his vehicle on Route 130 north at 11:11 p.m. Sept. 1. Police said he was driving with his high beams on. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, improper use of high beams and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
Several trays of jewelry were taken from Gifted in the Foxmoor Shopping Center Saturday at 1:01 p.m., police reported. The victim told police that three Hispanic men, a Hispanic woman and a white man entered the store and began looking at items in the store, distracting employees. One of the suspects then grabbed the trays of jewelry from a display case and all five fled the store. They drove away in a red Honda Accord, police said. The value of the jewelry is still being determined, police said. The theft is under investigation by the Robbinsville Criminal Investigation unit.
Police went to a home under construction on Emerald Road after a report of burglary and theft. The victim told police that someone had taken a diswasher and gas range from the site sometime between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3 and 7 a.m. Sept. 4. Total value of the items was unknown at the time of the report. The Robbinsville Criminal Investigation Unit processed the scene. Police said there are no suspects at this time.
