Lewis School of Princeton Displays Walls of Remembrance 9/11 Memorial Panels

By Cathy Byers-Reimer
During The Lewis School’s Annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, Director of Admissions Laura Desai and Founder Marsha Lewis, unveiled three 9/11 Memorial Panels  from The Garden of Reflection Memorial in Yardley, PA.  The Walls of Remembrance panels are currently on display on the school’s Bayard Lane campus in Princeton.
The Walls of Remembrance panels were designed and donated by Ellen Saracini, Bucks County native and widow of United Airlines Flight 175 Capt. Victor Saracini, whose plane crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Dozens of panels from the Walls of Remembrance have been displayed in many places throughout the nation including the White House, Congress and the 9/11 Ground Zero Memorial in New York City.
Each panel is filled with handwritten personal reflections, messages, thoughts, memories and prayers from the thousands of visitors who have had the opportunity to sign them while on display.  Lewis students, staff and faculty had the honor of adding their personal messages to the panels of the Walls of Remembrance today.
A proclamation from Pennsylvania Governor, Tom Corbett, is included on one of the three panels displayed at The Lewis School.
