CRANBURY – The man struck by a box truck on Rt. 130 in July has been identified by Jim O’Neill, of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, as Kelsey Choice, 52, of East Windsor.
Mr. Choice was struck July 17 while riding his bicycle on the southbound side of Rt. 130 near Old Trenton Road. He was last listed in critical condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
Calls to the hospital seeking an update on his condition were not immediately returned.
According to Mr. O’Neill, the truck that struck Mr. Choice was a 2006 white International 4300 box truck that was operated by Eric Kathcart Sr., 37, of Somerville.
The truck is owned by All Jersey Moving & Storage Inc., Mr. O’Neill said. According to the company’s website, All Jersey Moving & Storage is a family-owned moving and storage business based in Bridgewater.
Mr. Kathcart was issued five traffic summonses by Cranbury Police, according to Mr. O’Neill, charging him with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to keep right, impeding the flow of traffic and operating a motor vehicle in an unsafe manner.
