A burglary at a Lawn Park Avenue home netted the burglar a 55-inch flat-screen TV set, valued at $500. The burglar entered the house through a first-floor window between noon Sept. 8 and 4:05 p.m. Sept. 9.
Rider University student Brandon Horitani, 18, of Kendall Park, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia — a glass pipe, tweezers and cigarette rolling papers — after Rider University security found marijuana in his Gee Dorm room at 7:18 p.m. Sept. 9.
Paulina Veliz, 33, of Camden, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia — a crack pipe — following a motor vehicle stop at 4:57 p.m. Sept. 10. She had some outstanding warrants and was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of bail.
Xavier Stokes, 20, of Hamilton Township, was charged with shoplifting for taking clothing worth $324 from Macy’s at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 10. He allegedly concealed the clothing inside a backpack.
Rider University student Tolani Foloye, 20, of West Orange, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia — a glass pipe, small plastic baggies and cigarette rolling papers — in her Hill Dorm room at 2:02 p.m. Sept. 11.
John Burke, 60, of Adele Court, was charged with driving under the influence and other motor vehicle violations after he lost control of his motorcycle on the Trenton Freeway at Whitehead Road at 8:13 p.m. Sept. 11.
Tressa Hollis, 35, of Trenton, was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Brunswick Pike at 2:07 a.m. Sept. 12. She allegedly had 57 grams of marijuana in her possession.
Anthony Sweeney, 26, of Glen Olden, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving under the influence and other motor vehicle violations following a motor vehicle accident on Brunswick Pike at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 13.
Loose change was taken from three unlocked cars parked on Mink Court, Devon Avenue and Princeton Pike between 8 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15.
Barbara Cameron, 59, of Trenton, was charged with forgery and theft by deception for cashing a counterfeit check at 2:58 p.m. Sept. 15, after she allegedly cashed a counterfeit check Aug. 25 at Five Point Check Cashing on Princeton Avenue. She was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $10,000 with the 10-percent option.
