Manville Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of 193 are selling Trail’s End popcorn until Oct. 13 to help meet expenses and enable Scouts to go to camp and participate in activities.
Scout Popcorn Chairperson Larissa Mattei has again agreed to head up the effort.
"They added some new products, giving it a little more variety," she said. "There is also the popcorn for our troops program so even if someone does eat popcorn, they can make a military donation."
"Our troop has the potential to earn 40 percent, so it’s important for everyone to try to sell popcorn," she said.
The Scouts will take orders for all kinds of regular and flavored popcorn — kettle, butter, classic caramel, cheddar cheese, chocolate lover’s, sweet and savory and cheese lovers, buffalo cheddar cheese, jalapeno cheddar cheese and bacon ranch. New this year is white cheddar cheese and chocolately caramel crunch. There is also the favorite white chocolately and dark and white chocolately pretzels.
Prices range from $10 to $55 and 70 percent of the purchase goes back to the local Scout program. If you don’t want the popcorn for yourself, you can donate a gift of popcorn for military men and women, their families or veterans groups for $30 or $50.
Money is due at the time the order is placed and delivery will be in November.
You can contact the Scouts at [email protected] or order directly online at http://www.trails-end.com.

The boys will be at Community Day on Saturday to take orders for popcorn and talk about Scouting in Manville.
