HAMILTON — A white male broke into the Exxon gas station on the 1900 block of Nottingham Way to steal cigarettes, according to police.
The burglar alarm went off at 1:44 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30. When officers James Rickey and Shane Krywy arrived, they found the glass door to the business had been broken out.
After checking the business, no suspects were located.
The owner arrived and was able to provide video surveillance showing a dark colored four-door sedan pull up to the store then drive away.
At 1:37 a.m. the video surveillance captures the suspect breaking the front glass door, entering the store and while inside taking several boxes of cigarettes.
The suspect is a white male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, 210 pounds and wearing a blue tank top shirt, blue jeans and a blue T-shirt over his head.
The suspect has a tattoo on his right forearm and left shoulder.
The Hamilton Police Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual and vehicle.
