Police charged 22-year-old Christopher Dunnoway of Florence with theft and forgery on Sept. 20 after the Florence Tollgate Condo Association reported that five suspicious checks had been cashed against the association’s account. Police said Mr. Dunnoway allegedly used the checks to make payments on his cell phone account, totaling $1,015.11. He was charged with five counts of theft and forgery and he was held in the Burlington County Jail with bail set at $7,500.
Immanuel Covington, 27, of Burlington was charged with driving under the influence and a number of additional charges onat 10:04 p.m. Sept. 12 after his vehicle was stopped by police for a motor vehicle violation on Route 130 north. In addition to DWI, he was charged with contempt of court, failure to pay fines, refusal to submit to a breath test, suspended driver’s license, failure to keep right and reckless driving. After processing he was held in the Burlington County Jail after he was unable to post bail set at $31,414.31.
Gary Thompson, 46, of Roebling was charged with making terroristic threats, resisting arrest and obstruction at 1:50 a.m. Sept. 14. Four police officers were sent to Mr. Thompson’s home on Third Avenue on a report that he was threatening his roommates. Police said he made several threats to the officers but was eventually subdued and taken into custody. He was being held in Burlington County jail after failing to post bail, set at $30,000, pending a hearing in court.
Lisa Kohfeldt, 39, of Florence was arrested and charged with several drug offenses at 5:05 a.m. on Sept. 13 on Walnut Street. Police stopped Ms. Kohfeldt’s vehicle on suspicion that she was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Police said she failed field tests for DWI and was arrested. She was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, having a suspended registration, CDS in a motor vehicle, open container of alcohol in a vehicle and being an uninsured motorist. She posted $5,000 bail and was released pending a court appearance.
Shaniece C. Warfield, 15, of Elkins Park, Pennsuylvania, was charged with DWI and motor vehicle violations after her vehicle was stopped on Route 130 at 4:09 a.m. Sept. 14. She was also charged with reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol, an expired registration, speeding and failure to keep right. She was released pending a court hearing.
