All meals are served at noon at Hibernia Apartments in Lambertville. Reservations are required. Call 609-397-2228 24 hours in advance. The value of each meal is $5.10. Any amount donated over this is a tax-deductible contribution. All menus are subject to change and include milk and margarine. The sodium-controlled menu is the same unless otherwise noted.
Oct. 2 — Lentil soup, meatloaf with gravy, parslied potatoes, sautéed peas, cucumber salad, dinner roll, fresh grapes. Bring and brag.
Oct. 3 — Blended juice, boneless BBQ chicken, red beans and rice, seasoned broccoli, minced coleslaw, rye bread, sliced pears. Bring a friend to lunch.
Oct. 4 — Orange juice, seafood salad, croissant, three-bean salad, fresh fruit, lemon pound cake, milk.
Oct. 5 — Apple juice, hoagie (turkey, ham, American cheese), lettuce and tomato, red skin potato salad, fresh fruit, banana pudding, milk.
Oct. 6 — Chicken noodle soup, potato-crusted fish, cheddar stuffed potato, stewed tomatoes, garden salad, wheat roll, peach crisp cobbler. Cards.
Oct. 7 — Grape juice, sweet Italian sausage baked ziti with sauce, Italian green beans, hoagie roll, romaine salad with dressing, cannoli. Board games.
Oct. 8 — Beef vegetable soup, roast turkey with gravy, cornbread stuffing, succotash, citrus sections, raisin bread, frozen yogurt cup. Site meeting.
Oct. 9 — Cream of spinach soup, breaded crab cake, baked potato, asparagus tips, minced coleslaw, pumpernickel roll, purple plums. Puzzle day.
