CRANBURY — Police are warning residents to take precautions following a spate of residential burglaries including an attempted break in Wednesday night.
According to police, a witness observed two men trying to gain access to a Cranbury Estates home on Griggs Road around 8:15 p.m.
The witness said the men tried to enter through a side bedroom window before taking off on foot.
According to police there have been five residential burglaries during the past week and residents are being asked to take proper precautions to secure their homes and valuables.
They are also being asked to report any suspicious activity or vehicles to the Cranbury Police Department.
Anyone with specific information on these burglaries is also asked to contact the department’s detective bureau.
