Exhibit to celebrate art mentors

 “Four Moons in the Garden” and “Sweet Woodruff” by Laura Bethmann “Four Moons in the Garden” and “Sweet Woodruff” by Laura Bethmann The Monmouth Museum is presenting an exhibit that depicts, discusses and honors the roles that mentors have had on the work and lives of female artists.

“Who’s Your Mama: Visions of Our Mentors” will run through Nov. 2. A panel discussion will be held at 2 p.m. Oct.19. This exhibition of work is from the National Association of Women Artists, a pioneering women’s arts organization that has more than 800 members and is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.

The Monmouth Museum is located at 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, on the campus of Brookdale Community College.
