Cabaret for Life will present “Gabrielle Stravelli: A Jazz Concert with Dr. Art Topilow” at 8 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center, 100 Grant Ave., Deal Park. A portion of proceeds will benefit medical causes in the local community.
Stravelli, a Jersey Shore native who now lives and performs in Manhattan, will be accompanied by jazz pianist Art Topilow, who has performed with the Cleveland Pops. He has collaborated in concert with Christine Ebersole, Bernadette Peters and jazz legend Dick Hyman.
Stravelli and Topilow will be backed up by a jazz trio featuring bassist Patrick O’Leary, guitarist Doug Clark and percussionist Jordan Young.
