The Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) will presents its seventh annual Run/Walk for Wellness and Recovery on Oct. 5 at Johnson Park in Piscataway in partnership with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of New Jersey (NCADD-NJ) and Monarch Housing Associates. Sponsors include Investors Bank at the gold level. The annual event promotes the importance of emotional wellbeing and recovery from substance misuse.
The run begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. The day will also include music, information tables from other organizations, family fun and prizes. Dogs are welcome at the walk. All proceeds support the MHANJ’s advocacy and service initiatives, along with the work of its partners, NCADD-NJ and Monarch Housing.
