Wildlife photographer to speak at meeting

The Monmouth County Audubon Society will present noted wildlife photographer Alan Leckner, who will discuss, “Challenges of Wildlife Photography: Butterflies, Birds, Bugs and Babies,” at its 8 p.m. Oct. 8 meeting at the Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Road, Fair Haven. The public is welcome, and admission is free.

The audio-visual program will feature detailed images of butterflies, birds, bugs and babies photographed mostly in New Jersey, Florida and the West. The presentation will be augmented by an interactive discussion of the critical aspects of general photographic techniques. Topics will include composition, lighting, use of equipment and more.

The Monmouth County Audubon Society, a chapter of the National Audubon Society, is dedicated to the enjoyment and study of nature, wildlife conservation, habitat protection and education.
